Build Yourself

Do you know what it takes to accept oneself? To forget some, to forgive some, to accept some, to learn some and to move with your heart at place, do you know? It takes a lot of courage, a lot of patience, withstanding turmoil with oneself; it takes a lot of discipline, a lot of passion, a lot of realisation, a lot of sensitivity and a lot of common sense. Well, when there is a heart, I guess, there is no sense at all. A pragmatic sensibility is lost when we only utilise our emotions to sail through tiring times. Though the fight to overcome our conflict would be far more head-banging, self-destructive at times, but it is through this self-destruction that we construct ourselves. Build ourselves to stand up against the odds. Against our own odds. It takes a lot of love, care, passion and fire to build oneself up for the future; for a future we do not know what holds for us, but positivity.

It takes a lot of cribbing, isolation, solitude and a lot of gregariousness at the same time. Sensitivity as vast as the sky. Emotions as deep as the oceans. Resoluteness as a mountain that shuns the idea of being broken down. Persistence as a stubborn yet adaptive mind that accepts the microcosms of things as they are.

It takes as little an effort as breathing. As miniscule a thing to smile As simple as a way to cherish the universe and its beings. And as effortless a moment when a leaf falls from a tree during the autumn.

All the things at once.
