Go with the Flow..
Sometimes when we look at our past, we realize that
we hold onto some things so tight because we feel such great a thing would not happen
twice. We feel a peculiar nexus has been made between the happening of that
event and our emotions. The time what we first felt in a jiffy would not occur
again. Ever. We cling on to that indescribable moment that had our adrenaline
rush- it becomes next to impossible to forget it.
It happens. It really does. Some moments are
priceless and are irreversible, and no matter how hard you try, no matter how many
eons pass… some things just cannot return. If this manifestation is closely analysed it applies to both the positives as well as the not-so-good flashes of our
lives. Though eventually, it transcends itself to sadness.
Memories of happy moments sadden us because we think
we cannot grasp such a beautiful thing for ever; and flashbacks of the murky
past sadden us because we tend to drown in the same aura of helplessness and
hopelessness.
The crest and depression of our life gives us an
entire universe to observe and a whole new version of ourselves to observe… the way we react to
things happening in and around us. There are junctures when we are flummoxed by
the utter occurrence of things because we never expect them to happen. We are
the sole players who have no rules to play with. It becomes totally our
articulation in the litmus test where we have to pragmatically think and move
on.
Better not grapple the gloomy, but clench the
gratifying. J
